About the Event
Take Back the Night Tucson is an annual event organized in Tucson and across the nation to speak out and raise awareness about sexual violence and provide support to survivors.
Due to the recent COVID-19 pandemic, the 2020 TBTN Tucson event will be done entirely online via the TBTN Tucson Facebook page. Throughout the day on April 30, 2020, posts will feature artistic expressions of healing and resiliency, and resources to provide support to both survivors, and those affected by sexual violence.

This event is free and open to the public. A video by Esperanza Dance Project will be inlcuded, so keep a look out.
Music, visual art, poetry and dance have always been significant ways to express pain, healing and survival, as well as protest and celebration. Take Back the Night Tucson's virtual activities will kick off by showcasing cultural expressions of resiliency and offering inspirational messages!
Organizations that have a role in raising awareness and supporting victims of sexual violence will provide short videos to share who they are, why they care about TBTN, and how they support survivors or work to end sexual violence.
