

Esperanza Dance Project, (EDP), is a Tucson-based non-profit organization that uses impactful dance performances to educate about the issue of childhood sexual trauma and deliver a message of hope, strength, and empowerment. About the company: EDP spreads awareness and educates about childhood sexual trauma through dance, music, and narration. Company members perform in high schools, at community events, and across Arizona.
Rehearsals: Weekly company rehearsals take place Monday and Thursday nights beginning on August 17th.

Open to dancers ages 14+ with at least 2 years of dance experience.
Due to the serious nature of our work, it is important to EDP to create a safe space where all members are treated with respect, kindness and compassion.
It is not necessary to have lived experience with sexual trauma to participate. Learn to become an advocate for social justice!
