Every student who attends receive a personal copy of our educational curriculum. This curriculum is designed to give teachers, counselors, and other staff members a platform to initiate a discussion with students about stigmatized topics. The curriculum that corresponds with our high school performance, House of Hope, addresses the impact of sexual violence and the healing process. The curriculum that corresponds with our middle school performance, ProjectRISE, addresses issues of concern for youth aged 11-14 including negative body image, substance misuse, bullying, safe social media use, and mental health. Both sets of curriculum also include resources for students such as hotlines and information about local organizations.
The curriculum was developed by professionals from the Tucson community in the areas of education, high school counseling, dance, language arts, and behavioral health.
